BURUTU- Protesting angry Ogulagha Community youths have reportedly blocked the entrance gate of SPDC Forcados terminal with casket, as the protest enters day-7.

The youth had insisted that they would not evacuate the casket from the SPDC premises till the sacked oil workers be reinstated and arrears paid.

Speaking on behalf of the protesting youths, Comrade Obed Oluku said the protest was borne out of years of marginalization, neglect and disrespect for host communities by SPDC, a situation where community staff was treated as slave workers.

The activist said they had been protesting in night, day, sun and rain for the past 7days.

He insisted that nobody can removed the casket from the SPDC premises, except the protesting youths, and that anybody who would removed it without authorization would received curse in his or her entire life.

Oluku disclosed that they would not back out until every anomaly would be corrected and that they had finally come to draw the battle with SPDC.
