The Imo State University, Owerri, has begun investigating a viral video of the Head of Department of Biochemistry, Prof. Emmanuel N. Agumuo over an alleged sexual harassment of a student of the university.
In the video, a naked Agumuo was handcuffed by some security men for allegedly trying to have sex with one of his students after collecting N150,000 from her as bribe to pass an exam.
According to reports, the student who is scheduled to wed soon; had ‘issues’ with her result and approached the Professor who demanded N150,000 bribe to help her sort out the problem. But after paying the agreed N150,000; Agumuo allegedly demanded sex from her.
Her plea that she was getting married soon was said to have been rejected by the lecturer. The student therefore decided to play along with the aid of some security men who arrested him naked in a room with her.
