Further investigation into the alleged assault of a house agent in Ughoton community has revealed a new twist to the story.
Findings have shown that the house agent, Godwin Emeshina, popularly known as Mc Osinbajor, was never assaulted by his clients as earlier claimed.
According to our reporter, the clients had paid rent and other levies and subsequently cleaned and carried out maintenance on the apartment with the full knowledge of the agent.
However, when they returned the following day with their furniture and other belongings to move in, they discovered that another person had already occupied the apartment.
Investigation further revealed that multiple agents were involved in renting out the same property, and one of them allegedly gave out the house without the knowledge of Godwin Emeshina.
It was also gathered that the clients only confronted him over the breach of contract. While they were on their way to the landlord’s house to resolve the matter, the agent allegedly attempted to flee, fell, and sustained the injuries seen in the trending video.
Sources alleged that he is now trying to use the community platform to attract public sympathy over his failure to protect the property already paid for by the clients.
This is a developing story.
