Politician, poet and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has publicly denounced the move of Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu to seize Gaza and make it a territory of Israeli.

He wrote via X:

Yesterday I watched Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pontificating to the world about the so-called virtues of Israeli democracy whilst at the same time stating his intention to annex Gaza.

This begs the following questions. Why should we take lessons on democracy from those who kill babies, children, women and unarmed and defenceless civilians? Why should we be subjected to unsolicited lectures from those that subject their fellow human beings to mass murder, ethnic cleansing, genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and starvation? Why should we listen to those that seek to eliminate and exterminate an entire race of people?

Outside of that can you logically and plausibly argue and claim to be practising democracy in an ethno-fascist apartheid state which is steeped in the most malevolent expression of racism and rooted in the most vile form of religious bigotry?

Given the unconciable and catastrophic events in Gaza the Israelis have LOST the right to give ANYONE lectures about ANYTHING and are well on their way to losing their right to exist as a nation.
