A prominent chief of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha has been shot dead by gunmen in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state.
According to Daily Independent, a palace colleague of the deceased, Chief Freeborn Ayoma confirmed the death of Olorogun Bikogho; stating that he was attacked by gunmen at the popular PTI junction last night (Sunday 21st August) at about 7:10pm.
Olorogun Bikogho hails from Owawha town, Ughievwen Kingdom, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
He is said to be a ‘very humble and honest man, full of humility’, and holds the traditional title of ‘Echihigan’ of Ughievwen Kingdom.
At the time of filing this report, the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe could not be reached for confirmation of the incident as his phone number was not connecting.
