
…as Senator Peter Nwaoboshi storms Kwale, commissions OPN Secretariat.
The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, and Senate Committee Chairman on NDDC Affairs; Senator Peter Nwaobushi, on Saturday, September 25, commissioned Oyemike Political Network(O.P.N) secretariat in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Prior to commissioning the secretariat, Sen Nwaobushi paid courtesy call on HRM Isaac Obi, the Oduosa of Utagba Ogbe, Kwale.
Speaking during the visit, Nwaobushi thanked the Oduosa for leading the people aright and urged him to continue in the stead.
At the OPN Secretariat Complex, he expressed profound appreciation to Chief Valentine Oyemike, chief convener of OPN for his doggedness and services toward making life better for the people. He assured him of his continued support.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of APC faithful, Sen Nwaobushi, who was the Chairman of the occasion decried the neglect of Ndokwa Nation by the PDP led government in the state, assuring that APC will bring good dividends of democracy in the region come 2023.
According to Nwaoboshi, “APC in Ndokwa has come to stay and PDP plans will fail them woefully come 2023”
The convener of OPN Chief Valentine Oyemike stated that the group was formed under the umbrella of APC with the primary aim of supporting DSP Ovie Omo-Agege and Senator Peter Nwaoboshi vision and for better governance of Delta State come 2023 when APCwill be on the saddle.
He said the network has made available state-of-the-art computer facilities, to groom people in infotech in order to be relevant in today’s digital world.
“The centre is opened for everyone, who want to learn, irrespective of party affiliation”. “More programmes will be rolled out soon that will reduce the stress of unemployment among the youth and prepare them for leadership, because they are the leaders of tomorrow and we must begin with them today, he said.
