A group of fishermen in Yemen have struck a goldmine in form of ambergris worth over $1.5million – in the belly of a dead sperm whale floating in the Gulf of Aden.
The rare treasure, ambergris, a substance used in perfume industry has lifted the fishermen out of poverty in a country with grinding poverty from years of civil war.
