Powerful wind has laid to waste, the beautiful design at Airport Road Junction in Effurun, Delta State with many alluding to poor engineering work as the cause of the collapse of the edifice.
Some pointed out that many buildings in the area were unscathed by the wind – which they say is a proof of the poor structural work.
A passerby who gave his name as Peter, said it’s an omen of the corrupt system where nothing is built to last by the local, state, federal governments or corporate bodies as well as religious groups.
