The Ilaje Youth Congress heartily congratulate Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) Governor, Ondo State and Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa Deputy Governor Elect on their victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election held on the 10th of October, 2020.
We also use this medium to congratulate the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a peaceful, free and fair election. It shows the high level of democracy we have attained in this administration. We equally appreciate the good people of Ondo State, especially the Ilajes for coming out massively to show their support to the APC-led government of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN). This goes a long way to affirm the trust the people have in the present administration.
We see this laudable victory as a reflection of Gov. Akeredolu’s agility for industrialization and infrastructural development across the state and hope that the next four years of his administration will be used to consolidate the achievement so far; particularly in the Ilaje Local Government Area, where so much is expected. This massive support thrown behind the Governor in the just concluded election should be reciprocated in the areas of massive infrastructural development such as road construction, potable water, standard health facilities, security of lives and property as well as stable electricity supply, especially to the people of Ondo South Senatorial District.
We also appeal to His Excellency, the Governor to rigorously pursue the Lekki-Araromi road construction and the Ondo Deep Seaport project.
Furthermore, we appeal to the administration to empower the youths by bringing them into the administration for better governance.
We congratulate all APC leaders in the Ilaje Local Government Area, especially Hon. Lucky O. Aiyedatiwa (Deputy governor elect), Chief Olushola Oke, Mr. Funso Esan (Comm. for Environment) for working fervently to ensure the well-deserved victory of the Governor.
The Ilaje Youth Congress once again congratulate H.E. Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) on his resounding victory and wish him a fulfilled and prosperous tenure with fresh and great ideas for a better Ondo State.
