Breaking News: COVID-19: Governor Okowa Extends Lockdown For Another 14 Days

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has extended the lockdown in the state to contain the spread of the coronavirus for another 14 days.
The governor who announced this in a news briefing on Tuesday Morning at the Government House, Asaba, told Deltans that the extension was expedient to identify, isolate and detect cases.
He directed that markets for foodstuffs are now to open three times a week, which are Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The governor urged all Deltans to cooperate as it is for public good and interest of their health.
It would be recalled that on March 26, Governor Okowa announced modalities for close down of businesses, human movement and total lockdown of the state.
