President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to deliver his Democracy Day address today, June 12, 2025, at 12 noon at the National Assembly joint session.
He initially planned a nationwide broadcast at 7am, but due to his attendance at the joint session, the broadcast was cancelled, and the address will be delivered directly from the National Assembly chambers.
The theme of this year’s Democracy Day celebration is “Consolidating on the Gains of Nigeria’s Democracy: Necessity of Enduring Reforms”.
