Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, Sen. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, has expressed gratitude to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, on his appointment as Chairman, Senate Committee of Local Content.
Senator Joel-Onowakpo, in a statement he personally endorsed, captioned, “My Gratitude”, and made available to newsmen, also expressed appreciation to the Deputy President of the Senate, His Excellency Senator Barau Jibrin CFR, the Senate Majority Leader, His Excellency Senator Michael Bamidele Opeyemi CON, and the entire Senate leadership, for the confidence reposed in him.
He promised to work tirelessly towards promoting local content policies that would drive economic growth, empower Nigerians, and enhance national development, just as he pledged to deliver the assignment before him with utmost integrity.
