A 60-year-old technician simply identified as Najeem has died while working on an conditioner at a home in Adams Ajakaya street along Olambe junction on Friday, December 13.
The owner of the house, Abraham Popoola, visited the Ajuwon Divisional Police Headquarters to report the incident . Najeeb, from Ikorodu, Lagos State, had come to Popoola’s two-storey building to work on the system.
He reported that while the technician was attempting to refill gas in one of the air conditioners, he climbed a ladder while holding a small gas cylinder. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell, hitting his head on the concrete floor, which resulted in bleeding and instant death.
Men of the Ajuwon Divisional Police visited the scene, took photographs, and later deposited the body at the the Life Channel Mortuary.
