As Told by a Contributor

“She was a brilliant Maths Teacher at Malappuram, Kerala, India. One day, one of her student saw her at the railway begging for alms, but she couldn’t recognize her properly.

However when the student took a closer look, she recognized her class teacher. When the student asked her what led her to such a dire state, she told her that after her retirement, her family abandoned her and never came to know about her whereabouts, so she started begging to survive in front of the railway station.

The student broke down in tears as she listened to her teacher’s story, and took her home.

The student provided her Teacher with food and clothes. To secure her future, she contacted all those friends who were taught by the Maths teacher. They banded together and took her to a better place to live her life peacefully.

So abandoned by her own family, the teacher was supported and taken care of by the students whom she once taught.

This, I think is the best example of Teacher-Student sacred and emotional bond, and that HUMANITY is still alive.”
