A Sudanese went to perform hajj in Mecca. The weather was scorching and after throwing stones at Satan, he was sweating, tired and almost fainting from the heat.

He saw a policeman outside a room from which cold air was coming, and thought it a respite.

While the policeman was looking away, he quietly entered the room and saw many pilgrims sleeping there.

He also went to sleep. When he woke up, he came out of the room. As soon as the policeman saw him coming out of the room, the policeman started running away from him.

He was surprised and looked back at the door, and he, too, started running away rapidly.

The sign above the door was ثلاجة الموات (meaning a morgue or mortuary).
