Asue Ighodalo, the 2024 PDP Edo governorship candidate has vowed to appeal the judgement disqualifying him from contesting as the party flagbearer.
A Federal High Court in Abuja nullified the February 22, 2024 indirect primary election that produced Ighodalo as the party’s candidate on the ground of illegal exclusion of 378 delegates who should have participated in the primary election held at Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
However, reports by some media outlets claim the certified true copy of the judgement validates the candidate to contest the September 21 governorship election.
