Renowned businessman and President, ENUDA High School Alumni, Abiriba in Abia State, Chief Inem Nwaka, have called on the Abiriba community in Europe to support the political ambition of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential flagbearer and Dr. Alex Otti, the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Abia State.

Nwaka made the call while chairing the “ACIU Europe and UK Convention 2022” in Valencia, Spain.

In his address, Nwaka noted that Obi and Otti meet the required standard to transform Nigeria and Abia State to a better and state respectively.

He also charged Abiriba people in diaspora to uphold the responsibility of promoting their language and tradition to ensure that it does not go into extinction.

Nwaka also charged ACIU to continue supporting developmental projects in their various communities back home, reminding them that they are visitors in Spain and would one day, return home.

He encouraged ACIU members to support their communities in finance, ideas and every other thing that will bring more development in Abiriba, including the ongoing reconstruction of ENUDA High School.

“Always remember that you are a visitor. No matter how comfortable here is; you must be interested in programmes going on at home and be part of it”, Nwaka charged.

Other prominent guests that graced the occasion includes, Chief Kelvin Jombo Onuma from Lagos, Barrister Obi Odemena (President Igbo Union, Ireland), Dr. Prosper Obioha (former president Igbo Union Ireland), High chief Charles Ahize ( Akpuruka 1 of Orlu), Dr. Prosper – Emeritus Leader, Igbo Union Dublin and Ejim Ekea, from Ghana.
