Governor Nyesom Wike was conspicuously absent at the PDP secretariat where the party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, this afternoon announced Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate in the 2023 Presidential election.
Governor Nyesom Wike was a strong contender in the race for the VP slot.
His name, alongside Arthur Okowa and Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom were submitted to Atiku for selection.
