Surveillance contract staff members of Seplat Energy Sapele, Delta State, have staged a protest at the company’s gate over poor salary and work conditions.
According to the Chairman, Mereje Community, one of Seplat Energy’s host communities, Alex Egbara, the companies contracted by Seplat Energy for the surveillance of its facilities have reneged on the negotiated and agreed staff salary increase.
The aggrieved staffers are currently protesting at the company’s gate in Sapele, Delta State.
