Tragedy struck yesterday in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State as the dead body of 18-year-old girl was found in a hotel room.
It was gathered that the victim lodged in a popular hotel along Efeziomor road in Agbor, alongside boys suspected to be internet fraudsters who left the girl behind as they checked out of the hotel.
A staff of the hotel later found the dead body of the girl in the room and alerted the hotel management.
It was further gathered that there was no sign of stabbing, strangulation or foul play on the deceased.
The girl was simply identified as Ogorchukwu by a source who did not want his name on print.
Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) of Delta State, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya was yet to confirm or make a statement on the incident at the time of filing this report.
