The Palace of Olu of Warri, Delta State, has denied rumour of demise of His Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwoli, the Olu of Warri.
The Palace said the revered Warri Monarch is currently indisposed and receiving medical attention from a team of qualified medical specialists.
According to the Director of Palace Administration, Clement A. Maleghemi, who briefed journalists in Warri on Tuesday, “Further information on the subject would be made known to the general public by the Office of the Traditional Prime Minister of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayirimi Emami, the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom”.
Maleghemi, explained that the clarifications became necessary following news and social media speculations on the sudden demise of The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli.
