Two dare-devil robbers met their waterloo Wednesday (today) as they were lynched and their bodies set ablaze by a mob at Refinery Junction, Effurun, Delta State.
An eyewitness said the robbers trailed a man from one of the banks in the area, and robbed him of the money he withdrew from the bank.
The eyewitness further told Realtime.ng reporter that the man was shot in the leg when he resisted the robbers who taunted their weapons boisterously, but that bystanders mustered courage to disarm them. The robbers were subsequently lynched and set alight. Their charred remains were still smothering at the time of filing this report.
Realtime.ng is still making efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Command over the incident.
