Suspected hoodlums under guise of #EndSARS protesters, Thursday invaded a livestock market along Benin-Asaba road, Agbor, Delta State, looting a truck-load of goats, sheep and chickens.

The situation was rowdy and the hoodlums, including passersby helped themselves with livestocks of their choice.

The security personnel in the market were overpowered and outnumbered by the hoodlums and took refuge in the safety of nearby brushes.

Some were seen escaping on motorcycles with goats and chickens.

A livestock trader in the market said he was shocked to see the youths looting the trailer of its consignment.

A resident of the community, Joe Ebiri condemned the act, saying it was an outright robbery.

Ebiri advised that security agents should brace up to the challenges of hoodlums in the area as they now capitalise on the protest against the Nigeria Police to perpetrate their heinous acts at will and unfettered.
