The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa on Tuesday said the Command will extend its crackdown on “Cultists” to prostitutes to prostitutes in the State.
CP Inuwa in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri, vowed to frustrate their illicit businesses until they all leave the State.
He said, the prostitutes thronged Delta from neighbouring States to ply their illicit trade are becoming too many and an embarrassment as well as a threat to security in the State.
CP Inuwa said, “We are not going to allow them. They’re not going to find Delta as a safe haven. We will frustrate them until they all leave the State. We will keep on charging them to Court.”
The Police is yet to arrest and prostitute any prostitute over the matter raised by the CP.
