Gunmen have reportedly shot dead a member of the Enerhen Vigilante Group in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Realtime.ng learnt that the gunmen carted away his rifle after killing.
The incident took place at Justice Dugbo Lane in the busy Enerhen community.
The gunmen it was gathered who laid ambush for the vigilante operative opened fire on him as soon as they saw him.
They also shot sporadically into the air as they robbed other residents thereby causing serious tension in the area.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri saying,”Yes, it’s true.”
