A young man simply identified as ShowBoy has been reported to have died in a hotel(Name withheld) in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
DAILY POST reports that the deceased was said to have allegedly lodged into the hotel with one of his friends, Larry Gold.
It was learnt that the deceased complained of stomach ache after having a drink with the said friend as he returned to his hotel room with two other persons including his step brother who felt it was a normal thing.
The deceased later slept off after the two other persons had left him at in the hotel room without the said Larry Gold, who lodged him into the hotel where he died.
It was also learnt that the hotel’s CCTV footages captured the suspect at the time he lodged the deceased into the hotel.
The CCTV footages also captured where the deceased complained before the two other persons who visited him that it was the drink that the said Larry Gold allegedly gave him that is giving him a stomach ache.
The said Larry Gold is nowhere to be found to defend himself of all the alleged wrongdoings.
When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.
