The Nigerian government has readjusted the nationwide curfew hours imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Monday said with effect from Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the curfew hours will be from10pm to 4am as against the previous hours of 8pm to 6am.

The PTF declared that all schools in the country remain closed saying it is better to remain cautious as far as schools are concerned, adding that the decision followed expert advice.

Meantime, the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 has asked the Aviation industry to develop protocols for the resumption of domestic flights, noting that possible resumption date for the resumption of flights is June 21, 2020.

It further said that all interstate movements remain banned as only haulage of goods and essential travels are permitted.
