A suspected thief has been caught in Ughoton community of Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State by youths in the area. The suspect was caught while stealing electrical wiring from an uncompleted building.
The suspected thief, whose name was yet to be ascertained, was caught red handed in the act and handed over to the police.
There have been several reports in the community of property vandalism, especially fittings in ongoing building projects.
A source said measures are being put in place to stem the tide and to spread security dragnet over the community in order to apprehend buyers of the vandalized items.
