A young man, Onajite Augoye who is a brother to a former two-time Commissioner for Works in Delta State, Chief James Augoye has died under suspicious circumstances.
Why some allege that he died in a bike accident, others believe that he was attacked.
It was gathered that Onajite was found unconscious in the early hours of Thursday, March 31, along Ughoton-Omadino road – connecting Okpe and Warri South Local Government Areas of Delta State.
He was said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital within the community after he was found unconscious.
According to a source, a scan in the clinic revealed severe head injury and blood clot in his brain.
The victim was subsequently operated upon, but died shortly after the procedure.
The community has been enveloped in fear and suspicion over allegations that the young man may have been murdered by criminals.
The police have neither confirmed nor commented on the incident at the time of filing this report.
