
Award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, featured on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”, on Wednesday with download of his music tracks soaring according to a report.
Davido spoke on different issues, including his recently released third studio album, “A Better Time”.
Trevor Noah asked Davido for the correct pronunciation of his stage name following the debate he had with his friends about the correct way to pronounce it.
The singer said his name is pronounced differently by different people across the world.
He said despite the pronunciation, it doesn’t change the fact that his real name is David.
MTV’s Lauren Woulard said the channel was proud to have Davido on the show.
“We are excited to share that Nigerian-American artiste, producer and label CEO, Davido, will join Trevor Noah for an in-depth interview on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” tonight at 11PM ET/PT,” she said in a statement.
The Daily Show is an American late-night talk and news satire television programme, which airs each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central.
