The incident reportedly sent panic among businesses and residents of the area.
In an amateur video, thick smoke can be seen billowing from the restaurant, with sympathizers struggling to extinguish the fire.
The restaurant is known for premium dining – national and continental dishes, and an upscale lounge atmosphere.
The establishment has gained popularity within the area for its quality service and offerings.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained at press time, but gas explosion, solar panels malfunctioning, as well as electrical and kitchen-related incidents could not be ruled out.
No death or injury was reported.
