The company handling construction of the flyover at PTI roundabout has issued public notice on closure of traffic at the intersection to enable it transfer the high tension power cable at the area.

According to the notice signed by the Construction Manager, Thomas Haug, the opening and closure of the expressway would be staggered to mitigate the inconveniences.

Dear All,
Please note that due to the relocation of the 330 KV high-voltage cables at the PTI roundabout, the road will be closed to traffic as follows:

1st Outage 25.-27.05.2025
Sunday 25th May, from 8:00h – 2:00PM
• Traffic lanes will be closed and reopened every 15-20min.
• This affects the PTI–Airport Road.
Monday 26th May, around 12:00AM – 5:00PM
• Lanes will be closed and reopened every 15–20 minutes.
• This affects the expressway and PTI–Airport Road.
Tuesday 27th May from 8:00AM-1:00PM
• Lanes will be closed and reopened every 15–20 minutes
• The expressway and PTI Airport Road are affected.

2nd Outage 30.05. – 01.06.2025
Friday 30th May, from 8:00h – 2:00PM
• Lanes will be closed and reopened every 15–20 minutes.
• The expressway and PTI Airport Road are affected.
Saturday 31st May, around 12:00AM – 3:00PM
• Lanes will be closed and reopened every 15–20 minutes.
• The expressway is affected.
Sunday 1st June, from 8:00AM – 1:00PM
• Lanes will be closed and reopened every 15–20 minutes.
• The expressway is affected.
