Rainstorm, Tuesday evening, wrecked havoc in Ughoton and Ugbokodo communities of Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

Residents of the community were seen wailing after the rainstorm destroyed properties amounting to hundreds of millions of naira.
The storm rained ice cubes – leading residents to wonder how it was possible during the hot weather.

An eyewitness said; “we saw ice blocks falling from the sky during the torrential rainfall earlier today. This is unexplainable as it happened in the midst of severe heat!”.

The Honorable Councilor of the ward, Hon. Christopher Dawandakpoye Ejoh, commiserated with the residents at the disaster. He urged the community to remain strong, acknowledging that natural disasters are often unavoidable.
