“After giving birth to children, scorpions make them sit on their backs. And these scorplings keep eating the flesh at their mother’s back. Despite losing strength, the mother does nothing, does not complain – silently enduring the pain.

At some time, the mother is no longer able to walk as the scorplings gain strength and are able to walk themselves.

Then, their mother dies and these little poisonous stingers become engrossed in their own lives.

Today, many of us have become completely like scorplings. From the moment a child is born, the parents work hard for their children day and night, regardless of their means, to provide shelter, education, and comfort for their children.

Unfortunately, many of us do not even take care of our elderly parents and continue to strive to fulfill our own goals.

Just like a scorpion..

God said in the Holy Bible, Exodus 20:12; “Honour thy father and thy mother” – the fifth of the Ten Commandments; promising long life and well-being for those who obey.

Allah says in the Holy Quran, Surah Al-Isra, 17:23-24: “Do not speak loudly in front of your parents and do not even say a word to them”.

The concept of respecting parents extends beyond simply avoiding harsh words. It encompasses showing them love, care, and compassion, and treating them with the utmost respect and consideration.
