Bill Gates, once the world’s richest man, was asked: “Is there anyone richer than you?”
He said, ‘Yes, there is one person.’

“Many years ago, I was fired from my job. Went to the New York City airport. There I was reading newspaper headlines. I thought of buying a newspaper, but I didn’t have the change.

“Then a black boy gave me a newspaper and said, “Take it for free.” I said I didn’t have any money. He said, “It doesn’t matter, I’m giving it to you for free.”

“After three months, I went there again. The same incident happened again. The boy again gave me a newspaper for free. I refused, but he said, “I am giving it from today’s profit.”

“19 years passed. I became rich. I wanted to find that boy. After a month and a half of searching, I found him. I asked him, “Do you recognize me?”
He said, “Yes, you are the famous Bill Gates.”
I said, “Many years ago you gave me the newspaper twice for free. Today I want to repay you for that. Whatever you need, I am ready to give it to you.”

“The boy (now a man) said, “You can’t repay that.”

“I was surprised and asked, “Why?”
He replied, “I helped you when I was poor. But now you want to help me when you’re rich! So, how can you repay it?”

“Then I realized that the boy was richer than me.
Bill Gates said, “You don’t have to be rich to donate. The spirit of helping doesn’t see time, status or richness or poverty.”
We should find happiness in helping others.
