The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bright Edafe has advised parents to take control of their children and train them to be law abiding citizens.
In a post on X, the police spokesman lamented the quantum of weapons recovered from criminals, saying; “The suspects we are recovering these weapons from, are they not children from parents. Are they not from homes and families and communities?

We keep shouting police police, police. Are these weapons not too much? The suspects we are recovering these weapons from, are they not children from parents. Are they not from homes and families and communities? We keep shouting government government. We as a people, how are we living? Let it be known that the life span of a criminal is 1-3yrs. I have seen the looks on their faces when they are caught, trust me, it ain’t funny at all. Stay away from crime, its for your own good cos the end is always and will always be disastrous.
