X user, Comrade Abiyos Roni has alleged that the beloved Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Zulum pays 14,000 (fourteen thousand naira) as minimum wage to primary school teachers in the state.
He wrote:
“To be honest, this Zulum PR is enough 😎 stop trying to paint black to white.
We all must embraced that Gov Zulum is a big failure as a Governor, for all these years in office yet Governor Zulum can’t provide a good salary wage to Borno people.
If we can recall this isn’t the first time this issue were raised on Twitter but till now no action were taken.
Zulum spending multi billion naira in construction of Markets, roads, schools and hospitals but imagine paying primary school teacher N14,000.
With current economic hardship in the country what can you buy with N7,000 or N14,000 salary? To be honest it can’t even settle your transport costs to your place of assignment.”
