The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has said that the scarcity in supply of premium motor spirit, popularly called petrol in some areas of the country has been resolved and that the product is now available for motorists and other end users.
The company, in a press release, stated that the “tightness” in supply of the refined petroleum product was due to logistics problems.
It also said that “the prices of petroleum products are not changing” and urged Nigerians to avoid panic buying as “there is a sufficiency of products in the country”.
