Concerned about the economic crisis in the country (Nigeria), Jehovah’s Witnesses is set to launch an international campaign to bring attention to the universal solution.
It said a special edition of The Watchtower magazine would be distributed during the month of September with the theme: “What Is God’s Kingdom?”
In a statement yesterday, Jehovah’s Witnesses regional spokesperson for Badagry in Lagos, Ezekiel Bolaji, said Local Jehovah’s Witnesses from Lagos State, Nigeria, would distribute the special edition magazine, which is available in over 780 languages in print and online.
He also noted that throughout the centuries, millions of Jesus’ followers have prayed the words “Thy Kingdom come” but wonder what that Kingdom is.
Bolaji added that The Watchtower would help find answers to some certain questions with reference to key Bible passages.
He said, clear and simple explanations had been designed to appeal to both new and experienced Bible readers.
“It’s no secret that many people feel we need better rulership, but few can agree on how to achieve this. The good news is that Jesus Christ will be the perfect ruler who can, and will solve all the problems we are facing here on earth. Our campaign will bring this much-needed message of hope to our communities.
“A free digital copy of this special issue of The Watchtower, as well as information about the activities of Jehovah’s Witnesses, is available at jw.org.”
He added that the Witnesses’ website offers practical Bible-based content for people of all ages and beliefs in over 1,070 languages.
