A yet to be numbered Lexus RX 350 has crashed during confrontation with police officers along Airport Road by Tivo Supermarket, Effurun.
It was gathered that argument ensued between the driver of the SUV and police officers who were checking vehicles along the the road.
An eyewitness said that one of the officers held the steering of the vehicle when the driver attempted to move away – leading to loss of control and consequent crash of the SUV.
The police officers were said to be a detachment of Ogborikoko Police Station, Bendel Estate, Effurun Delta State.
