Author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has called on residents of Lagos not to vote for Labour Party’s governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in this weekend’s governorship election.
Omokri, in a post on his Instagram page, called on Lagosians to vote for the PDP’s governorship candidate.
He said if people would not vote for the PDP in Lagos, they should not vote for Rhodes-Vivour as he would damage Lagos.
This could technically mean that the influencer is also rooting for APC’s Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent governor of Lagos State.
He wrote:
“To all #RenosNuggeteers in Lagos, please vote for the PDP in next Saturday’s gubernatorial elections. However, if you feel you cannot vote for the PDP, then please do NOT vote for Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour.
“I listened to him, and I am convinced that electing him will seriously damage Lagos. By himself, he is not a viable candidate.
“But beyond him, those promoting him on a godfather level, and others promoting him as foot soldiers, have an agenda that will not be conducive for the peace, progress and unity of Lagos State.
“If you love me and what I stand for, reject him and what he and his godfathers stand for. You may now insult,” he said.
