Hoodlums allegedly joined protesters on Wednesday and set on fire; Union, Access and First Banks branches in Udu area of Warri, Delta State.

According to Politics Nigeria, the protest against the scarcity of the new Naira notes began on the streets of Udu before it turned violent, resulting in the burning of buildings by some hoodlums.

In the South-West states of Oyo and Osun, there have also been violent protests over the scarcity of fuel and the new naira notes.

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State had on Wednesday, asked the Federal Government to review the naira policy “before the situation gets out of hand”.

According to him, “this is the worst policy done by the Federal Government”.

  1. The hoarding of the new naira notes are caused by the politicians of APC and PDP who are hell bent in vote buying to win their going back to their political party’s position’s. So, the electorates should take their annoyances to the polls to reject all of them outrightly. Moreso, anyone who tries to distribute the new naira notes on the day of election,
    if at all, should be held liable for the scarcity and sufferings of the destitutes.

  2. Buhari doesn’t want election to hold. Everything happening is deliberately allowed so it result to election cancellation or postponement.
