…says, ‘I was not happy when someone asked me if I was supporting Peter Obi, I can’t imagine that’

Former Director General of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and National Vice Chairman (North West) of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Salihu Lukman, has revealed that he felt dismayed when someone asked him if he was on the OBIdient train a few weeks ago.

According to Dr. Lukman in an interview with the Guardian Newspaper, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is far ahead of his rivals and he is completely throwing his weight behind the former Lagos State governor who is campaigning on the platform of the All Progressive Congress. In his own words as stated by the Guardian Newspaper:

“Asiwaju’s candidacy so provides optimism for the emergence of responsible leaders. The presence of political parties with responsible management as outlined in their rules is necessary for having accountable leaders. A close friend recently, asked me if I am Obi-dient, suggesting that I am supporting Peter Obi. To say the least, I was very unhappy that anyone could imagine I would support any candidate other than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I can’t imagine that.”
