The Labour Party Governorship candidate in Osun State, Lasun Suleiman Yusuf has alleged that the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi Instructed Doyin Okupe and others to withhold funds donated for his election.
Lasun Yusuf, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives made the allegations when speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
Doyin Okupe, a former aide to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the Director General of the Peter Obi Campaign Organization.
The former deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said “Obi never cared to ask questions for one day; he instead instructed Doyin Okupe and others to withhold funds donated for our election.”
He added that he owed debts ranging from logistics for those who worked closely for the party during the election.
