A man, identified as Taiye has hacked his wife, Endurance to death in Oviorie-Ovu community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
After committing the crime, the suspect allegedly fled to his sister’s house at Abraka. The sister was said to have invited the police to arrest the suspect.
Details of what led to the heinous crime was not available at the time of filing this report.
It was however gathered that the deceased had eight children in her previous relationship before she got married to the suspect.
The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a text message sent by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.
