A prominent Uvwie Chief and Ex-Attorney-General of Delta State, Chief Victor Otomiewo has decamped from the state’s ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC).
The prominent Chief of Uvwie Kingdom was received by Festus Keyamo (SAN), the spokesperson to APC presidential party candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Chief Otomiewo was received to the party in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
The picture was shared on the official Twitter account of Festus Keyamo.
While releasing the picture, Keyamo wrote: “Today in my country home in Effurun, in Uvwie LGA in Delta State, I, along with other leaders, received into the APC, the former Attorney-General of Delta State & the oldest lawyer in my community (the Uvwie Kingdom) and an erstwhile frontline PDP stalwart, Chief Victor Otomievwo”.
The development was to the delight of many Deltans who expressed joy on the ‘big win’ by the Delta APC.
Some noted that with Chief Otomiewo in APC, the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer, DSP Ovie Omo-Agege will have a smooth sail to Government House, Asaba.
