• Says it’s not a quixotic notion, therefore can’t steal public fund
The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has said that he cannot embezzle public funds because God has blessed him more than enough and that he’s richer than the US President, Joe Biden.
According to a report by Naija News, the former Governor of Anambra State stated this in a recent dispora event.
He stated that he was in a public event where the American President, Joe Biden said he is worth $8.9 million.
The LP flagbearer noted that he is not looking for a private jet, sophisticated house, or eager to own a house in America.
A public affairs analyst, Chief Moses Onyema, while commenting on the alleged statement, said the LP presidential flag bearer is becoming too garulous, adding that there are several allegations of impropriety leveled against him, including the recent accusation that while the Governor of Anambra State, he favoured only people from a particular religious faith.
He advised Peter to be wary of his statements in order not to draw the ire of the western world.
