A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ughoton, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Mark Efe Ugborotu has urged Deltans to remain steadfast in their bid to build a new Delta State.
Chief Ugborotu made the statement while receiving hundreds of defectors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward 10, Okpe Local Government Area of the state to the APC. He assured the defectors and the teaming supporters of APC of a brighter future for all Deltans with DSP Ovie Omo-Agege as the Governor of Delta State come 2023.
He expressed confidence on the ability of Omo-Agege of APC to put to an end, “the maladministration, cluelessness, belly-politicking, zero infrastructures and zero human capital development in the state”.
“H.E Ovie Omo-Agege is second-to-none when it comes to true patriotism and political achievements.
Agege is a man of academic excellence and a political technocrat. He’s been tested, and we trust and believe in him.
“Do not be deceived by political jobbers. A new Delta is sure with Agege.
He was able to provide transformers, streetlights, water, school buildings, equipment and good roads, etc.
“If Deltans can enjoy all this from a Senator, then you should expect more and more when he finally becomes our Governor come 2023.
“We have a great task before us. All hands must be on deck…. Let’s work, get our PVCs ready and vote out the PDP that has been destroying Delta State for 23 good years. Omo-Agege has come to rescue Delta State from the bondage of Agberos”.
Chief Mark also said that DSP Omo-Agege has the in-depth knowledge and infallible wisdom to govern Delta State and pilot it to first class level.
He tasked the defectors to feel comfortable in the APC family and work towards the actualization of a new Delta State, urging the populace to key into the “EDGE TO BAND” agenda, to realise the Delta State of our dream.
