
A youth group, Delta State Core Comrades (DSCC) for Osanebi with over three hundred thousand members drawn across the nation has thrown its weight behind the Delta State APC gubernatorial flagbearer, DSP Ovie Omo-Agege and his deputy in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Friday Osanebi.
In a keynote address during the inauguration of the group’s executive officers in Asaba, capital of Delta State, the National Coordinator, Comrade Esiri Kotor said; “The group threw its weight behind the duo ticket of Omo-Agege and Osanebi because of their individual contributions to the advancement of the state and Nigeria”. He noted that the duo of Omo-Agege and Osanebi will do massively well “when they take over the Osadebe House” (Government House, Asaba).

Speaking further, at the ceremony, Comr.
Kotor stated that ” We are particularly excited because Rt Hon Friday Osanebi is young, brilliant, resourceful, energetic and a round peg in a round hole, who would add developmental values to Delta State.”
He assured Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege of massive mobilization of voters from all the nooks and crannies of Delta State to deliver the Omo-Agege-Osanabi ticket with resounding victory during the 2023 elections.
Also Speaking, chairman of the occasion, who administered the oath of office to the executive members of DSCC, Senior Comrade Progress Omo-Agege; popularly known as “King of Politics” (KOP), stated that “People now respect those with Permanent Voters Card (PVC)”, and added that this is the first time a House of Assembly candidate is attending an event of the comrades. The KOP noted that “Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Rt Hon Friday Osanebi are members of the comrade community, hence they will not, and cannot forget the comrade community for their commitment.”
Also speaking at the event, Olorogun (Dr) John Oyibokwifi, the APC Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) hopefull for Ughelli South, said, “we are sure of Senator Ovie Omo-Ageges competence, capacity and track record of achievements as a Senator and Deputy Senate President (DSP) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – as the Federal Polytechnic in Orogun speaks loudly and clearly for itself among other achievements”. He assured the group of his total support and commitment, and stressed on the need for each of the youth as canvassers, to go back to their respective polling unit and kick-start a door-to-door engagement with prospective voters about the party and its candidates at all levels in preparation for the 2023 elections.
