A medical student, Korrine Sky has told BBC that since she fled Ukraine because of the Russia-Ukraine war, she has no hope of continuing her education.
She said that she had tried to enroll in many schools in the UK where she is now, but all her efforts were not successful.
She further said that for any school she applies to, she will be informed that they are filled up, noting that she has tried her best to continue her education, but it seems all hope is lost.
Korrine is not the only one experiencing this challenge.
Other students who left Ukraine for the UK are yet to continue their education because of the same issue.
The Russia-Ukraine war has severely dealt with many students studying in Ukraine. They have been at home for 6 months since the war broke out.
